As a CollisionLink administrator, you will be responsible for adding and maintaining the list of employees that need to look up part prices using CollisionLink. Before you begin: Both a unique username and email address are required to create a new user account.
Once a user account is created, CollisionLink will send the new user(s) an email to complete the registration process. To ensure your users receive this:
- Add CollisionLink@OEConnection.com to the Safe Sender list within your email client or internet security software.
- Notify your users to watch out for an email from CollisionLink@OEConnection.com (Subject: Welcome to CollisionLink Insurance) and to complete the needed steps once they receive.
- If they do not receive the email, have them check their SPAM or Junk folders for emails from CollisionLink@OEConnection.com.
The process to add users varies based on how many users you wish to add:
- From the CollisionLink menu, click Account Management.

- Click User Management.
- Click Single User.

- Complete the following information in the Add User section (all the fields are required):

- First Name
- Last Name
- Username: Type in a unique Username that you want your CollisionLink user to log in with. A valid Username must be six to 20 letters and/or numbers and must not include any special characters, such as !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *. An error message will display if the Username has been previously used.
- e-Mail: Type in the user's email address. An error message will display if the email address has been previously used.
- Administrator: Select Yes to set up the new user as a backup administrator for your CollisionLink account. Administrators will be able to add, edit, or delete user accounts.
- Click Add User when done. The new user's account will display in the User List section if all the information is entered correctly.
- Upon adding a user, an email will be sent to the address you entered--providing the new user with a link to the CollisionLink login page, their username, and a temporary password which they will use to log into the site.

- Upon logging in, the new user will be directed to the Account page where they must:
- Select a Security Question and type an Answer that they can use to retrieve their Username/Password.
- Create a personal Password which they will use to log into CollisionLink in the future.
- Click Complete User Information Update to complete the account-creation process.

To add multiple users: (A maximum of 500 users can be added at one time.)
- From the CollisionLink menu, click Account Management.

- Click User Management.
- Click Multiple Users.

- Click the link to download the Sample Data File.

- Open the UserRegistrationData file and enter the required user information (First Name, Last Name, e-Mail Address, and User Name). Do not add additional columns to the file.

- Save the file in the .CSV format. (CollisionLink can only import .CSV files.)
- Return to CollisionLink and then click Choose File to locate the updated file. Click Open.

- Click Upload. If the selected file is not in .CSV format, the Upload button will remain grayed out.

- Click Add Users. Users will be added to the User List. If any users failed to import, an error message will display. To resolve:
- Click the link to download and view the accounts that could not be created. Note: Depending on your Excel settings, information in the Error Messages column may not display on screen. To resolve, select all cells and then click Format>AutoFit Row Height.
- Make the necessary corrections.
- Once you have updated the records, delete the Error Messages column.
- Save the file in .CSV format.
- Upload the new file. Repeat this process until all record issues are resolved.

- An email will be sent to the addresses you entered--providing new users with a link to the CollisionLink login page, their username, and a temporary password which they will use to log into the site.

- Upon logging in, new users will be directed to the Account page where they must:
- Select a Security Question and type an Answer that they can use to retrieve their Username or Password.
- Create a personal Password which they will use to log into CollisionLink in the future.
- Click Complete User Information Update to complete the account-creation process.
